Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston has mocked Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live, in a searing parody of the president-elect’s administration picks.

Playing Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway, Kate McKinnon told CNN anchor Jake Tapper, played by SNL cast member Beck Bennett, of Mr Trump’s nominee to head the Drug Enforcement Agency.

“He came highly recommended by Steve Bannon,” Ms Conway says, referring to Mr Trump’s chief political strategist.

“Steve’s the best. We’ve had some times,” Cranston responds, saying Mr Bannon found him “in the comment section at Breitbart.”

Cranston who played Breaking Bad drug lord Walt White tells the interviewer he’s an obvious choice to head up the nation’s peak anti-drug authority.

“Trust me I know the DEA better than anyone inside and out,” he said.

“I also like that wall he likes to build. Nothing comes in,” Cranston continues. “That means a lot less competition for all of us.”

“Trump and I agree: It’s time to make America cook again. We want to fill this nation with red white and a lot of blue.”
