With the presidential race almost over, Democratic candidate Hilary Clinton’s campaign team has pulled at the heart strings of voters in its latest advertisement.

The ad is one in a series of films that feature groups of people listening to Republican candidate Donald Trump’s most offensive comments.

In ‘Mirrors’, young women look into the mirror sombrely as a ‘best of’ reel of Trump’s most politically incorrect comments are played.

These include Mr Trump suggesting that “flat-chested” women were unlikely to rate a 10/10, and comments about Rosie O’Donnell being a “pig” with a “fat ass”.

In an archived television interview, Mr Trump is asked whether he treats women with respect, to which he answers: “I can’t say that”.

As the ad concludes, the subtitle asks, “Is this the president we want for our daughters?”.

Another ad in the series focusses on children, showing vision of kids around five years old listening to Trump’s comments on the news.

One child, appearing to be of Mexican appearance, listens to Trump calling Mexican immigrants “rapists”.

Another child watches Trump claim he “could shoot someone in Times Square” and not lose any votes.

Other clips simply feature Trump using swear words liberally.

The latest ad comes in the lead-up to the presidential debate, which will be held on Monday (US time).
