Poop scoop: Man’s day turns to muck when stuck in loo
A fireman has come to the rescue of a man who became trapped in a toilet after climbing in to retrieve a mobile phone.
Cato Berntsen Larsen, 20, took on the task of climbing into the “pretty full” toilet because he was thin, but became jammed there for an hour when he discovered he couldn’t climb out.
He clutched the rim until the fire brigade arrived to free him.
The drama occurred after Larsen’s friend dropped the phone as he tried to text while urinating at Hillside River Park in Drammen, Norway.
The Sun quoted Larsen as saying: “My friend said I was thinner, and could fetch it. I did not take time to think, and jumped down legs first.
“I was apparently thin enough to get down, but not thin enough to come up again.
“It was damn disgusting – the worst ever experience. There were animals down there too. I was bit several times.

“The s… was up to my thighs. I was sick. Then I started panicking because I hate confined spaces and couldn’t move.”
The fire brigade was forced to break the bowl to set Larsen free.
Fire boss Kare Hoel said: “It was standing room only down the toilet.”
The phone was retrieved in the rescue effort, but had been smashed when it fell.
