Cookie crumbles for ex-Subway spokesman

Former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle is expected to accept a plea deal for charges relating to child pornography, FOX59 and ABC News have reported.
Although yet to be officially charged, on Wednesday Mr Fogle is expected to enter a guilty plea to possession of child pornography.

The US Attorney’s Office was expected to hold a press conference to discuss the deal and charges on the same day.
Mr Fogle’s legal representative Ron Elberger declined to provide comment on the case, but confirmed his client’s contract with Subway was suspended.
On Tuesday Subway provided a similar statement to Twitter.

Mr Fogle’s Zionsville, Indiana home was raided by the Federal Police in the early hours of July 7, allegedly removing digital devices.
He attained national fame after claiming to have lost more than 110kg in one year from eating Subway sandwiches.
