An airport in Ireland has left a little toddler toy-less after confiscating a replica ‘fart gun’ from the movie Despicable Me, because it posed a “threat”.
The young kid had the ‘Minions Fart Gun’ seized on Saturday because toy guns, particularly ones with triggers, are prohibited at Dublin International Airport.

A friend of the child’s family took to Twitter to express their bewilderment:

A spokesperson for Dublin Airport told The Independent there was a clear reason the toy was taken away from the child.
“Toy guns and replica guns are on the prohibited items list and we urge people to check this before they travel,” they said.
“We don’t make the rules but we apply the rules consistently; anything that is a replica gun with a trigger mechanism on it is listed as a prohibited item.”
It is understood the airport is holding onto the toy gun for the child to pick up once the family return.
