An Argentinian woman has sparked global outrage by seemingly giving alcohol and marijuana to her young child.

“He’s high” said the woman in Spanish on 15 June. The accompanying photo appeared to show her lighting a marijuana cigarette in the child’s mouth.

This supposedly alcoholic bottle also sparked outrage.

“He sucks” she said in January, this time appearing to pour alcohol into the same child’s mouth from a bottle.

The images were deleted after sparking online outrage, Spanish language site Diario Popular reported.

The offending Facebook account, named ‘Andrea Ciro’, has also seemingly been deleted or renamed.

Argentinian child protection officials have responded to the incident, saying they would investigate if the mother’s identity can be established.
