Kensington Palace has released the first photo of Prince George and little sister Princess Charlotte, saying it was snapped by the young royals’ mother, the Duchess of Cambridge.
It follows the palace announcement on Friday that Princess Charlotte will be christened on July 5.

Prince William’s first daughter will be christened at St Mary Magdalene Church at Sandringham — the same rural English church where his mother, the late Diana Princess of Wales, was baptised.
The church is near Queen Elizabeth’s country estate in Norfolk, eastern England.

Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton live in a mansion on the estate that was given to them by the Queen, and have been staying there since the princess’ birth at St Mary’s Hospital in London on May 2.
In tribute to his grandmother and mother, Prince William and Kate gave Charlotte the middle names Elizabeth and Diana.
The princess is fourth in line to the throne after her brother Prince George, who was born on July 22, 2013. He was baptised in St James’s Palace in London.
