Google Maps lists White House as ‘N-word house’
Internet users who type the ‘N-word’ racial slur followed by ‘house’ into Google Maps have been directed to the residence of the first African-American president of the United States of America.
Even in Australia, the search term ‘ni**a house’ directs users to the White House in Washington, DC where President Barack Obama lives with his family, The New Daily confirmed.

When the term is entered, a red pin appeared above the official residence, which Google described as the “iconic home of America’s president”.
The error may be a result of Google’s previous policy of allowing members of the public to add locations to its map software.
The tech company has since removed this feature to prevent similar problems, yet the label remains attached to the Whitehouse.
“Our teams are working to fix this issue quickly,” a Google spokesperson has told US media.
Users who correctly spell the word ‘ni**er’ are not directed to the White House.
