Potty training has not gone well for a young British boy who had to be freed by firefighters after getting his head stuck in his trainer toilet seat.

They came to the aid of the toddler in West Hill, in Devon, after he got into difficulty.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue sent an engine to the home.

“The fire crew were able to remove the toilet seat from the child’s head,” a spokesman.

“The child was uninjured.”
