The woman had told police she met up with a man she was introduced to through Tinder at a restaurant in Kings Cross on Saturday night.
The pair then moved to a bar in Martin Place where they were joined by some of the man’s friends.
The woman told police she began to feel dizzy and numb, and lost her bearings.
It was alleged she was sexually assaulted by a number of men at a property, believed to be in Botany.
The woman said she managed to leave and alert her work colleagues, who then told police.
Police said the case was now closed.
At the time of the claim, police warned about organising dates through social media.
