Man charged for baby assault
A 23-year-old man has been charged over the assault of a seven-month-old girl who sustained life-threatening injuries.
Police from Major Crime charged the man after being notified the girl had been taken to Swan District Hospital on Monday before being transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital.

The man from Ellenbrook, who is related to the girl, has been charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm.
He has been refused bail and will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
The baby girl remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
