“You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive. There is a threat to lives and homes,” the Department of Fire and Emergency Services says.
The bushfire is moving fast in a northerly direction, it is out of control and unpredictable.
Burning embers are likely to be blown around homes and spot fires are starting ahead of the blaze, the DFES says.
Earlier on Monday authorities had downgraded the threat to a watch and act alert but a wind changes have caused it to flare again.
