Man injured after fall from Christmas tree
Police say a 29-year-old man has been badly injured after falling 8m from a large Christmas tree in Kalgoorlie.
Officers allege the man scaled a security fence to climb the decorated tree in the city’s CBD about 9:00pm.
Police say it appears the man slipped while climbing down and fell onto a cement floor.
It is believed the man from Boulder fractured his right leg, shoulder and pelvis and has possible facial injuries.
He was taken to Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital last night.
