Man pleads guilty to killing taxi driver and passenger after running red light in Kewdale
A 24-year-old man has pleaded guilty to killing a taxi driver and his passenger in a car crash in Kewdale.
Police say Antony Fogarty was driving a stolen car when he ran a red light and crashed into the taxi last October.
The 28-year-old driver and his 36-year-old passenger, who had just arrived in Australia from Britain, were killed.
Fogarty initially pleaded not guilty but changed his plea in the Supreme Court in Perth today.
He is due to be sentenced in January.
