Teen charged with driving at 218 kph
A 19-year-old man is facing charges after he was allegedly caught driving at more than 200 kilometres an hour near Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
Police say the man’s car reached speeds of up to 218 kilometres an hour in a 110 zone on Yarri Road in Williamstown last night.
His car was seized under anti-hoon legislation and he’s expected to be charged by summons with reckless driving.
