Authorities warn water users near Esperance whale carcasses could attract sharks
Two whale carcasses have reportedly washed ashore east of Esperance.
Earlier today, the Department of Fisheries announced that a whale carcass had washed up in Duke of Orleans Bay, near Dunns Rock.
It is not known what type of whale it is or how long it has been at the location.
The department now says a second whale carcass has been reported in the Duke of Orleans Bay area.
A spokesman says the carcasses can attract sharks and water users should take care.
