Two people have been injured in a helicopter crash on a property near Victoria’s alpine region.

The helicopter came down at Piries, south of Mansfield, shortly after 3pm on Saturday, police said.

A man and woman believed to be aged in their 40s were on board.

The woman is seriously injured and was airlifted to hospital, while the man suffered minor injuries.

Air safety authorities have been notified, police said.
