Victoria Police Homicide Squad detectives have charged a second teen following the death of a woman at an out-of-control party in Melbourne’s CBD on Saturday.
A 16-year-old Truganina boy was charged with being an accessory to murder and assault on Wednesday night.
Police were called to an address on A’Beckett Street following reports of a woman suffering serious injuries about 5.15am on July 21.
Laa Chol, 19, was fatally assaulted at a short-term rental apartment on the 56th floor of the EQ Tower amid a dispute involving two groups of party-goers.

Paramedics attended but the 19-year-old died at the scene.
He has been remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
It follows a 17-year-old boy being charged with one count of murder.
The Sunshine North youth was taken into custody on Monday afternoon to be interviewed by the homicide squad, police said.
The youth was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Children’s Court on Tuesday.
