Two men arrested in Cayleb Hough death

Two men have been arrested over the death of Melbourne teenager Cayleb Hough, whose body was found in a shallow mineshaft in Bacchus Marsh.

Police said a 36-year-old from Collingwood and a 28-year-old from Gellibrand, just south of Colac in Victoria’s south-west, had been arrested.

The remains of 17-year-old Cayleb were found in Lerderderg State Park in March, after he was reported missing in December.

The pair were questioned and the Collingwood man remains in custody, but the 28-year-old was released pending further inquiries, police said.

A vehicle was seized from a property at Gellibrand.

In January, police found the car the teenager was travelling in when he was last seen in the car park of Southbank entertainment complex.
