Police say the man is “hogging the Christmas cheer”, after walking into a supermarket in Kialla, near Shepparton, on November 11 and loading up a trolley with the hams before running off.
He is also wanted in relation to liquor thefts and is believed to be driving a car with South Australian number plates, police said on Friday.
