Car smashes into Frankston cinema, reverses into ATM
Police said the car drove into the ATM inside the cinema before leaving the scene.
A car has smashed through the front of a cinema complex and damaged an ATM at Frankston, in Melbourne’s outer south-east.
Police believed a dark green sedan drove through the glass doors of Village Cinemas on Karingal Drive about 4:25am (AEDT).
They said the car reversed into an ATM and then stopped and reversed into it a second time before driving out of the complex.
Nothing was stolen during the incident.
Two people were inside the building at the time but were not injured.
The vehicle is said to be a Holden sedan with a spoiler on the back and sports wheels, and police have urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
