Three dead in Vic tanker crash
Two women and a child were killed when a petrol tanker’s trailer came loose and rolled on top of their vehicle in Victoria.
Police say those killed were a woman in her 60s, a woman in her 30s and the child, whose age has not been released.
Another vehicle was also involved in the collision in Victoria’s northeast, but police say none of the occupants of that car, nor the tanker driver, was injured.
The crash happened on the Wodonga-Yackandandah Road, six kilometres south of Baranduda, just before 9am (AEST) on Thursday.
It has taken the state’s road toll for this year to 153, eight more than for the same time last year
