Search for missing swimmer continues

Rescue crews this morning resumed the search for a swimmer who disappeared yesterday at Station Beach near Cape Otway off the Great Ocean Road in Victoria.
The 34-year-old Ivanhoe man was swimming with a friend when they were caught in a rip around 3pm yesterday, police say.
Both men were caught in a rip but only one was able to make it back to the shore.
Yesterday’s search was called off at 6.30pm due to failing light and resumed this morning at 9.00am.
