Police find 14.5kg of cannabis in hotel room
In Melbourne, police have found 14.5 kilograms of cannabis after searching a hotel room.
Police were called to investigate a disturbance but by the time they arrived, the people involved left.
The officers investigated further when they could smell cannabis.
They spoke to a 43-year-old man who let them search the hotel room and found the drugs.
The man has been charged with trafficking and possessing a drug of dependence, and will appear in court at a later date.
