Adelaide on flood watch

A flood warning has been issued for parts of the Adelaide Hills with heavy rain set to sweep across South Australia.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast falls of up to 60 millimetres in the hills on Thursday with the rain expected to continue into Friday.

Light snow is also possible on Friday on the higher peaks across the Mt Lofty Ranges.
Adelaide is expected to get up to 25mm of rain on Thursday with the chance of an afternoon thunderstorm.
The approaching front has prompted the State Emergency Service to make sandbags available to local residents at various locations across the hills and metropolitan Adelaide.
