Four masked and armed men have stormed an Adelaide house and assaulted three women living there, police say.

Police said the men, believed to be aged in their 30s, entered the house in Morphett Road at Seacombe Gardens in Adelaide’s southern suburbs about 1:30am.

The women were assaulted as the attackers demanded property in what police said was a targeted attack.

One of the women was taken to Flinders Medical Centre for treatment of a laceration to the head after she was hit with the back of a knife.

Two other women were punched in the face and sustained cuts from the attack.

Police said the attackers also confronted a man who was staying in a granny flat at the rear of the property.

Police said the men took cash and personal property and at least two of them rode from the scene on bicycles.
