Lamb prices have reached three-year highs.

A decline in numbers, due to drought, has pushed prices up.

Livestock agent Will Nolan, from Landmark in south-east South Australia, says it’s the young animals that are star performers right now.

“If you take into account the time of year we’re in, I don’t know that I’ve seen it any higher than this in March.”
