Police investigate carpark shooting
Police are investigating a shooting at a restaurant carpark on the Gold Coast on Sunday.
According to police, a vehicle was stopped in a carpark on Gooding Drive in the Gold Coast suburb of Merrimac when the alleged shooter arrived about 3.40pm.

The man got out of the vehicle and approached the stopped car, “firing several shots into the car” before driving away.
A 24-year-old passenger of the first vehicle was shot in the leg and later presented himself to the Robina Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 19-year-old woman was assisting police with their inquiries.
Investigations continue.
