Tim Carmody to call for heads
Queensland Chief Justice Tim Carmody is reportedly planning to call for the resignation of several members of the state’s judiciary.
The embattled judicial head will use a speech at a legal conference on Hamilton Island on Friday to take aim at his critics, News Corp reports.

Justice Carmody is expected to call for them to reconsider their own positions as he outlines his vision for the reform of the courts at the North Queensland Law Association conference.
He said on Monday he was willing to resign himself, on “just terms”, to end the bitter infighting that has consumed Queensland’s judiciary.
It is understood these include a proper settlement after just 10 months in the job, a reform of the courts and the installation of a judicial commission.
A source close to the judge has told News Corp he expects his adversaries to do the honourable thing and resign along with him.
