You, you, you … Sir Joh’s son named PUP leader in Qld
Palmer United Party (PUP) leader Clive Palmer has announced John Bjelke-Petersen, the son of former Queensland premier Sir Joh, as the party’s leader in Queensland ahead of the pending state election.
Mr Bjelke-Petersen was endorsed earlier this year as the PUP candidate for Callide, to stand against the electorate’s current member and Queensland Deputy Premier Jeff Seeney.
Mr Palmer said John, a former Liberal National Party member, was a man of integrity who put Queensland and Queenslanders first.
