A woman has been killed and man is in hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing on the Gold Coast this morning.

Queensland Police have confirmed the body of the woman was found in a home on Tuesley Easement in Southport about 8:00am today.

She had suffered multiple stab wounds.

The man was found at the same address and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
