Girl, 6, seriously burnt at Qld campground
A six-year-old girl is being treated for serious burns after falling onto hot coals at a Queensland camping ground.
The girl fell into the hot coals of a campfire that had been burning overnight in the Landcruiser Mountain Park, north of Brisbane.
RACQ CareFlight says she suffered serious burns to her upper legs and was airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital early on Sunday morning.
The girl’s mother accompanied her.
