A fisherman has been rescued, after his boat flipped near South Stradbroke Island off Queensland’s Gold Coast.

Police says the man was crossing Jumpinpin Bar early this morning when his boat flipped.

Another man pulled him to safety.

It is believed he was not hurt.

The fisherman’s dingy has been recovered.
