A woman and a teenage girl have been found dead inside a home as detectives begin investigating the scene.

Police made the discovery on Thursday morning after going to a home on Menzies Road at Marsfield, in Sydney’s north-west, due to a concern-for-welfare report.

The two people whose bodies were found inside the home are yet to be formally identified, but they are believed to be a woman in her 50s and a teenage girl.

A crime scene has been established in the quiet suburban area as police investigate the circumstances of the deaths.
