Police are investigating whether the grisly discovery of three bodies in two Sydney suburbs is linked.
The bodies of a woman and child were located in North Parramatta on Tuesday while a male body was found in Baulkham Hills in the city’s north.
The Daily Telegraph reports the mother and child were found dead inside a martial arts studio in Sydney’s west.
They were reportedly found an hour after police were called to a unit complex in Baulkham Hills where a man was found dead.
The Telegraph reports he had “shocking injuries”.
A fourth person, with non-life threatening injuries, was speaking to police.
That man was being treated at Westmead Hospital and was in a stable condition.
The Daily Telegraph reports police began unravelling the horrific scenario soon after the injured man presented to the hospital’s emergency department around 1am.
Homicide detectives are investigating whether the two incidents are linked, police said.
Multiple crime scenes have been established and are being examined by forensic officers.
