Sydney man ‘targeted’ and shot
A 34-year-old man was taken to hospital in a serious condition after he was shot in what police believe was a targeted attack.
The man was shot three times on Derwent Street at Mt Druitt at about 9.00pm on Monday.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.
Police said they hoped to question the man as soon as he was well enough to speak to officers.
A NSW Police media spokeswoman told The Daily Telegraph it appeared the 34-year-old had been attacked on the street and not on a property.
“A male received a number of gunshot wounds. He was found on the street or in the gutter, it wasn’t in a house,” she said.
Mount Druitt Local Area Command continue to investigate the attack.
