Charges laid in Facebook brawl

Two men and a teenager have been charged after a pre-arranged brawl in Sydney’s northwest left a father and son fighting for their lives.
The men – aged 20, 18 and 15 – have been charged with wounding with intent and affray after the fight, which police say was organised on Facebook, at the Rouse Hill shopping centre on Thursday evening.

They have been told a group of about 20 men arranged to meet outside the shopping centre for a fight for reasons unknown.
A 41-year-old man was stabbed in his stomach, arms and back, and his 20-year-old son suffered a single stab wound to the chest during the melee at the intersection of Caddies Boulevard and White Hart Drive.
A knife, scissors and baseball bat have been seized from the crime scene as police continue their investigations.
Five men were arrested at a home in Whalan a short time after the fight broke out about 8.30pm.
The father and son have both undergone surgery and remain in a critical condition at Westmead Hospital, police said.
The trio were refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Friday.
