Jodhi Meares pleads guilty to drink-driving
Model turned designer Jodhi Meares has pleaded guilty in a Sydney court to a high-range drink-driving charge.
The 43-year-old first wife of billionaire James Packer blew 0.181 and had to be rescued from her Range Rover after smashing into three parked cars in Bellevue Hill in Sydney’s east in June.
Meares pleaded guilty to the charge through her lawyer Chris Murphy at Waverley Court on Wednesday.
Two other charges – including one for driving on a suspended licence – were withdrawn.
Meares is facing the possibility of jail time over the drink-driving charge.
Wearing a black pant suit, Ms Meares was accompanied by her lawyer Chris Murphy.
“Go away,” he told the press gathered outside Waverley Court.
