A man has fallen to his death from a balcony on the NSW Central Coast.

Police say they were called to a hotel on Pinetree Lane, Terrigal, after reports of an unconscious man near the pool about 9.30pm on Saturday.

Officers located a 19-year-old man with serious head and internal injuries.

He was taken by ambulance to Gosford Hospital before being flown to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he later died.

It’s believed the man fell from a sixth floor balcony.

Among the lines of inquiry being followed is possible misadventure.
