Body found after NSW house fire

A body has been found after a house fire in southern NSW.

Emergency services were called to the house on Banksia Crescent in Tumut about 4.40pm on Saturday, and neighbours were evacuated while firefighters brought the blaze under control.

An identified body was located by firefighters in a search of the house.

Investigators have established a crime scene, and are yet to determine the cause of the fire.
