Tony Abbott’s uncomfortable photo mishap

A photo opportunity has backfired on Prime Minister Tony Abbott after his visit to a Canberra supermarket on Thursday morning.
Mr Abbott was on his way to pose with a local butcher when some opportunistic photographers snapped him outside The Reject Shop.
• NSW upper house condemns ‘boofhead’ Eddie
• Hipsters rejoice: a bearded swimming cap exists
• Poisonous lead ‘found’ in Maggi noodles
Unfortunately for the prime minister, the majority of the photos exclude the word “shop”.
The result is a very meme-friendly image that has been doing the rounds on social media:
Of course, the responses have been inventive and numerous.
Ha ha so funny, Tony Abbott is a reject. So funny. Watch for the draconian legislation to appear while we’re distracted #auspol

Guys, I know you’re The Reject Shop, but you’ll have to pay the customers to take this off your hands: http://t.co/OeYX5DeDPO

Just like his wink blunder during an appearance on the Jon Faine show, this photo is likely to haunt Mr Abbott for the rest of his political career.
