John Howard’s heart scare
John Howard was released from hospital yesterday and is recovering at home
Former prime minister John Howard is resting at home after receiving treatment in a Sydney hospital for a heart complaint.
The 75-year-old was playing golf on Monday when he experienced a tightness in the chest and went to Royal North Shore Hospital’s Emergency Department.
He was then transferred to North Shore Private where he had two stents inserted.
A spokesman for Mr Howard said he was discharged yesterday afternoon and would be returning to work in his office next week.
