‘Black magic’ fears: pierced man denied entry to Dubai
Rolf Buchholz, the world’s most pierced man, has been barred from entering Dubai after authorities feared he was associated with “black magic” due to his appearance.
Germany-born Mr Buchholz, who has 453 piercings and faux horns implanted in his head, was travelling to Dubai to appear at local nightclub Cirque le Soir.
However, he was prevented from exiting customs by authorities concerned he was a “practitioner of black magic”.
I am at Dubai airport. They let me not in the country. The luggage is lost. I am ok.

Mr Buchholz told The National that authorities cancelled his visa and confiscated his passport.
He was then forced the leave the airport – and his luggage – and return to Germany, despite having no association with witchcraft.
“I hope I can enter Dubai again and meet all the people, but at the moment I don’t see when and how it can happen,” he told The National.
“I think if people were a little more tolerant, then the world would be a better place.”
At the end I got an answer why I can’t enter Dubai: The Immigration thought I am Black Magic. Stupid people.
