Television star ‘shot wife’ in front of young sons
Television actor Michael Jace was arrested on Monday night for allegedly shooting and killing his wife of 10 years, April Jace.
According to TMZ, police arrived at the actor’s Los Angeles home after he called 911 saying “I shot my wife”.
The couple’s two young sons witnessed the shooting that killed their mother at the scene.

“They were not physically hurt, but obviously their emotions are running high,” Los Angeles Police Department detective Sal LaBarbera told KTLA.
“It’s just so very unfortunate that a domestic incident like this occurs, we have two young children that lost their mom and now their dad is in jail, most likely will be in prison for this.”
Jace is best known for his role as Julien Lowe in television drama The Shield, but has also appeared in Southland, Forrest Gump, Planet of the Apes and Boogie Nights.
The 51-year-old is still in custody with a $1 million bail, according to a police spokesperson.
