Music megastar Beyonce is dealing with family drama after footage obtained from CCTV cameras at last week’s Met Gala showed her sister Solange viciously attacking her husband Jay-Z in an elevator.

The video, originally obtained by TMZ, shows Beyonce, her sister and her husband entering an elevator with security before Solange lashes out at Jay-Z, seemingly unprovoked.

Solange is retrained by security guards as Jay-Z attempts to fend her off while Beyonce looks on.

Minutes later, the trio were photographed leaving the elevator at the glamorous event in New York, with Beyonce showing no sign of strain as Jay-Z nurses the side of his face and Solange looks angered.

The singer is yet to comment on the bust-up, only cryptically sharing a photo on her Instagram of a prayer asking to “separate myself from anyone who is not a good influence”.

Solange has also kept quiet about the attack, instead sending messages to American airline Delta on her Twitter account.
