Australia’s top Google searches of 2015 revealed
Streaming TV, sports, celebrities, movies and international events – Australia’s trending search topics on Google in 2015 have been released.
Topping the list of most trending searches was Netflix, while the most searched-for news item was Paris, followed by Bali 9.

Jarryd Hayne was the top trending Australian in 2015 and Malcolm Turnbull came second.
Following Mick Fanning’s encounter with a great white, “shark attack” searches hit a record high, while tragedies in France and Nepal led to those locations featuring on the most-searched list.
