Massive kangaroo ‘intimidating’ suburb
An “intimidating” kangaroo has been hanging around a Brisbane suburb, shocking locals with its buff physique and two-metre tall frame.
“He’s very intimidating, he’s a big boy,” Linda Hellyer, the local who first spotted the animal, said.
“We turned the corner and old mate jumped out. He’s very big and I don’t want to take him on. He’s got massive, massive muscles, big pecs and everything.”

The animal, which weighs an estimated 95 kilograms, has been spotted in the town of North Lakes, checking out the golf course, playgrounds and walking tracks.

There have been concerns about the welfare of kangaroos in the area where “Big Buck” was spotted since early this year when animals were found getting trapped in construction sites in the fast-expanding suburb.
Locals are calling for purpose-built wildlife havens to be constructed.
