A NSW man accused of shooting another man in the face has been charged with attempted murder.
The alleged shooter was arrested on Wednesday morning, hours after a 36-year-old man was wounded at a Wollongong home.

“The man was approached by police and allegedly produced a knife at which stage he was arrested after a Taser was deployed,” police said.
The victim was treated by paramedics before being taken to Wollongong Hospital.
He has since been transferred to another hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition, police said.
The alleged gunman, 41, was charged on Wednesday afternoon with attempt to discharge loaded arms at a person with intent to murder and resist police.
He’s due before Port Kembla Local Court on Thursday.
