Activist Stella Young dies

Writer and disability advocate Stella Young has died at the age of 32.
The comedienne was born with osteogenesis imperfecta and was the former editor of the ABC’s disability news and opinion website, Ramp up.

Her family confirmed her unexpected passing on Saturday evening. According to Mamamia, Ms Young died from an aneurism.
“With great sadness we acknowledge the passing of Stella Young, our much loved and irreplaceable daughter and sister,” the family said in a statement.
Tributes for Ms Young have already begun to flood Twitter, with Fairfax political reporter Latika Bourke calling her “full of life, vivacity and wit”.
Former ABC 7.30 host Sarah Ferguson said Australian public life was “diminished” by the loss of Ms Young.
