Fowl play at the coop: search for nugget of truth
Ten chickens have been decapitated at a Melbourne school, just weeks after more fowl were found with their heads chopped off at another school.
The most recent remains were found at a Kensington primary school on Thursday morning.
“This was a senseless act of animal cruelty that has occurred for no good reason,” Detective Leading Senior Constable Scott Bilston said.
It is the second such attack this month, with a duck and three chickens beheaded at a Point Cook school on October 1.
